Anxiety and Meditation
What do you do when you feel anxious? First off, I’d like to say that while everyone may feel anxious at times during their lives, anxiety can also be a serious medical condition. If you, or someone you know, is struggling with anxiety, you should know that there are effective ways to treat this condition. If you feel that you are constantly thinking about the issues or problems that you have during the day, speak with a professional. Talking about your problems with someone else can help you get them out in the open so that they are not bottled up and causing you to worry. I cannot offer medically based methods of treating anxiety. However, I can give you my opinion of using meditation to reduce anxiety based on my own personal experiences.
I know that meditation and relaxation is not so easy during times of an anxiety attack. However, I’ve found that focused, intentional relaxation, prayer and meditation can really help reduce anxiety by creating an aura of peace and calmness around me. When I start meditating, or watching one of my iGodMind Subliminal Meditation Videos, I feel my breathing get slow and deep, and I feel the calmness washing over me. You should be making a habit of these activities in your daily life. This helps nurture your spirit and relax your physical body, the way it needs to be relaxed, instead of sitting inactive, watching television or worrying.
Think about starting meditation. Meditation has been known to help many people who have anxiety, and it isn’t difficult to do. There are many free versions of my subliminal meditation and manifestation videos on this site.
